1. About These Terms
Welcome to TicketBaron.com! These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of our ticketing platform. By purchasing tickets through our platform, you agree to these Terms.
TicketBaron.com is a ticketing platform operated by Packetpipe Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 12105604), VAT registered. We provide ticketing services for independent event organizers - we do not host or organize events ourselves.
2. Ticket Purchases
Booking and Payment
- Ticket prices are set by the event organizer
- All prices include VAT where applicable
- We accept major credit/debit cards via Stripe payment processing
- Payment is processed securely at the time of booking
Pricing Modes
Event organizers choose how fees are displayed:
- Inclusive Pricing: The ticket price you see is the total amount you pay. All platform and payment processing fees are included in this price.
- Exclusive Pricing: The ticket price shown is the organizer's base price. Booking fees (platform fees + VAT) and payment processing fees are added separately at checkout. The total you pay will be higher than the base ticket price.
Payment processing fees (charged by Stripe) vary by card type and payment method. Exclusive pricing shows estimated Stripe fees (2.3% + 25p) which may differ slightly from actual fees charged.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refund policies are set by individual event organizers. Please refer to the event page and our Refund Policy for full details. In general:
- Refund availability depends on the organizer's refund policy (none, standard, or custom)
- If refunds are offered, they are typically minus non-recoverable payment processing fees
- Platform fees and booking fees are generally non-refundable
- Refund Protection can be purchased at checkout for additional coverage
- If an event is cancelled by the organizer, customers receive refunds according to our Refund Policy
- TicketBaron is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs if an event is cancelled or rescheduled
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you have an issue with your ticket purchase, please contact us or the event organizer first. Filing a chargeback with your bank should be a last resort.
Event organizers are responsible for all chargebacks, payment disputes, and associated fees. Disputes may delay refund processing and can result in additional costs being passed through. Please see our Refund Policy for more information.
3. Event Attendance
Event organizers set their own policies for entry requirements, age limits, dress codes, and venue rules. These vary by event and are displayed on each event page.
General Requirements
- Age limits are set by the event organizer (commonly 18+ or 21+, but may vary)
- Valid photo ID may be required for entry (check your event page)
- Event organizers and venue staff reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone from the venue
- Dress codes and other requirements are event-specific
Your Responsibilities
- Check the event page for specific entry requirements before attending
- Bring valid photo ID if required by the event
- Arrive on time - late entry may not be permitted depending on the event
- Follow all venue-specific rules and local laws
- Respect other attendees and venue staff
4. Behaviour and Conduct
Event organizers and venue staff are responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment. Unacceptable behaviour at events includes:
- Harassment, discrimination, or offensive conduct toward other attendees or staff
- Excessive intoxication or illegal drug use
- Damage to venue property or equipment
- Aggressive, threatening, or violent behaviour
- Violation of venue-specific rules or local laws
Event organizers and venue staff may remove anyone exhibiting such behaviour without refund. TicketBaron supports organizers in maintaining safe events but is not directly responsible for on-site conduct enforcement.
5. Liability and Safety
TicketBaron as a Ticketing Platform:
- TicketBaron provides ticketing services and payment processing - we do not organize, host, or control events
- Event organizers are responsible for event safety, security, and compliance with local laws
- TicketBaron is not liable for incidents, injuries, or issues that occur at events
- We process payments securely but are not responsible for event delivery or quality
Your Responsibilities as an Attendee:
- You attend events at your own risk
- Report any incidents or safety concerns to event organizers or venue staff on-site
- TicketBaron and event organizers are not liable for loss or damage to personal property
- If you have medical conditions or accessibility needs, contact the event organizer in advance
- Follow all safety instructions provided by event organizers and venue staff
6. Payment Security
PCI-DSS Compliance: TicketBaron is committed to maintaining the highest standards of payment security. We adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) to protect your payment information.
- We do not store card data - TicketBaron never stores, processes, or transmits your full card details on our servers
- Stripe handles all payments - All card processing is handled securely by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 Service Provider (the highest level of certification)
- Inline checkout - Payment forms are embedded directly from Stripe, ensuring your card details never touch our systems
- Stripe Connect - Organizer payouts and connected account services are provided through Stripe Connect's hosted infrastructure
By using Stripe's secure payment infrastructure, we ensure your financial information is protected with industry-leading encryption and security measures.
