TicketBaron collects payments on your behalf as disclosed booking agent. Payment processing costs are absorbed by TicketBaron — they are never passed on to you or your customers.
VAT: TicketBaron fees (5% + 35p per order) are subject to UK VAT at 20%. Payment processing is handled and absorbed by TicketBaron. The customer sees a single “TicketBaron Booking Fee” at checkout.

Payments & data security
Secure payments powered by Stripe. You don't need your own Stripe account.
You don't need a Stripe account
TicketBaron handles all payment processing through our Stripe account. When customers buy tickets, Stripe processes their payment securely and the funds are held until your event completes. You just need to provide your bank details for payouts — that's it.
Why Stripe? It's the same payment infrastructure used by Amazon, Google, and Shopify. Your customers get a familiar, trusted checkout experience with support for all major cards and Apple/Google Pay.

What we store
Only the essentials needed to deliver tickets and process payouts:

- •Card last 4 digits — for receipts only
- •Stripe references — payment & payout IDs
- •Order amounts — totals and fee breakdowns
- •Your bank details — sort code & account for payouts
What we never store
Card data goes directly to Stripe — we never see it:
- ✗Full card numbers — never touches our servers
- ✗CVV / security codes — Stripe only
- ✗Card expiry dates — not stored by us
- ✗Card PINs or passwords — never
- ✗Any raw card data — zero, none, zilch
PCI-DSS compliance: Card data goes directly from the customer's browser to Stripe — it never touches our servers. This gives TicketBaron the lowest PCI compliance scope (SAQ A), the same model used by most modern e-commerce platforms.
How payouts & refunds work
